Take your grilling FLAVOR to the next level!

We're a family of carnivores with mild barbaric tendencies.  For us, a perfect meal is MEAT.  Best served GRILLED.  Nothing beats releasing the flavor of marinated meat on a slow-cooking charcoal pit.  You can see the light smoke wafting, smell the flavors hyping, hear the goodness crackling, and feel the craving building.  Grilling is a sensual feast so rich, you can almost taste it!

So is it any wonder why I believe my brood belongs to the McCormick Grill Nation?
This mouth-watering event is McCormick's way of bringing passion to flavor.  It's going to feature McCormick's Grill Mates Seasoning Mixes (Pepper Steak, Hickory Smoked, Cajun, Steak ala Pobre, and Korean BBQ)  --spiced up with a cooking demo, games, and live performances by surprise guests.  Appetizing?  Well, what do you expect from the flavor expert!
The McCormick Grill Nation will happen on April 7, 2013 at Bonifacio High Street, Lane O corner 9th Avenue, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.

Perfect timing! We love our weekends peppered with outdoor fun and a whole lot of grilling.  Why, just last Saturday, my husband deftly came up with this simple yet lovely recipe.

Ingredients:
2 lbs. pork belly
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp. black ground pepper
1 head of garlic, crushed

Instructions:
1.  Use half of the garlic slush to rub into the meat.  Really go into the nook and crannies on this one.
2.  For the rest of the ingredients, mix everything up to create the marinade.
3.  Marinate the meat for 3 hours to overnight.
4.  Grill.  Like a boss.

That's the caveman version, of course.
Next weekend, we plan to take our grilling to the next level with McCormick's Cajun Seasoning Mix.  One pack packs a flavorful punch with the choicest spices --like paprika and oregano-- giving grilled meat a distinct southern flavor.  It's an authentic taste of New Orleans in your pork, beef, or chicken!

Yes.  We can be a classier breed of cavemen, ya know.

So, join our quest... Master the flame, master the flavor!  Be a part of the McCormick Grill Nation on April 7, 4pm onwards at the Bonifacio High Street.  One flaming passion for flavor!  One fiery showcase of grilled cuisine!  GRAAAHHH!

RaketChick Does SASsy.

A wise, old mentor (sadly, it's not Yoda) once told me that a good writer should be able to write for anything.  Not one to back down from a challenge, I pushed myself to write for cars and pesticides, from high-budget TVCs to low-budget AVPs, from pamphlet to websites... without a hitch.  So far.  Whew!

Now, for the merry month of March, I'm biting the bullet again!

Or, biting the nipple... as it were.

In celebration of Women's Month, Sex and Sensibilities.com has invited moi to be part of their advocacy to empower the Filipina with the freedom of expression.  More to the point, through Erotica.  Yes, you read that right.
See how women writers transform the traditional world of paperback romance novels into something more creative and imaginative.  Something sexier and SASsier.

Mind you, I have never written anything like this before.  But feel free to see how well I am at faking it.
(AHA!  See what I did there. :P)
