New Year's Raketsolutions 2013
Don't wait for what 2013 has for you. Rather, what have you got to give to make 2013 quiver in its baby booties.
I can sum it up in two words: BE BOLDER.
Ok, that's kinda vague so I've put it down in 3 categories. Nerdox alert.
Time to think big, people. Time to stop thinking of yourself as plan B, the fallback, the other woman. Time to take on competition whether big or small. David took on Goliath. The Mouse took on the Lion. Bumblebee took on that huge Decepticon with the metal whips before pulling out Ravage's innards in Transformers 2. And they all won.
Don't just stick to your tried and tested craft. Learn to do things out of your league. Perfect your new knowledge. It saves you from outsourcing, plus, you learn more --which is a cool thing to aim for when you're freelancing. Spread yourself thickly. Like Pimiento Cheese. Versatile and tasty. Yummm...
Stress is overrated. Unless you live for stress like I do (and that requires a certain kind of sick-in-the-headedness), then you must learn to take defeat or any form of negativity with a bit of good humor or a pinch of 'dedma'. Laugh everything off and enjoy the better things in life. In other words... Why so serious?
There's a lot in store for you in 2013 if you assert yourself. Sweet muffins don't make themselves, you know.
